Everyone who reads KICK*ASS*METAL knows that Benedictum featuring World-Class Vocalist Veronica Freeman Know she has been one of my favorite Heavy Metal vocalist since the band unleashed there KICK*ASS debut album “Uncreation” in  2006, I have had this CD for a while, but I never got around to reviewing it, because I have been very busy to say the least.

But When I saw The V, in the record store, whatever CD I had in my hand at the time got but back right away. 2015 has been one of the busiest years of my life, even thought I have not been that active on KICK*ASS*METAL webzine, but our official faceBook presence. Has been very busy, I have made sure in 2015 that I listen very closely to album more in-depth, to give better perspective on the song-writing on each CD, and this album is filled with tons of excellent World-Class Vocalist, World-Class Guitar Hero Surprises, because there went a lot of work put into this album.

Every year as a heavy metal fan, I usually get 10 or 20 melodic hard rock CD’s if the attitude is the same as the KICK*ASS heavy/speed/power/thrash metal that I love.

This year has been a pretty mind-blowing year for tons of World-Class Heavy Metal being released in 2015.

For the category of heavy metal / hard rock for the top 10 heavy metal /  hard rock albums of 2015

So far for hard rock with a metal edge, hard rock that metal fans can relate to because of the KICK*ASS factor, our top 10 albums of 2015 in hard rock so far are

the other 6 are tentative and to be announced, as a fan of the Benedictum back-catalogue, all albums rule and are KICK*ASS*METAL molten metal masterpieces, and every one of those albums have a full-score rating of 100 out of 100 blood dripping skulls, and it is because of this band, I notice a lot of metal publications take points off of record review scores BECAUSE this band is 100 percent perfect total metal with a unique enough sound, where they stand out enough, where there albums are albums I will be enjoying the rest of my life, everything about Benedictum, guitar tone and Veronica Freeman, World-Class timbre are perfect. And for sure one of my favorite heavy metal bands since the debut album.

The “V” Now or never totally rules and at KICK*ASS*METAL there we love all music that is bad ass and KICK*ASS, and this album delivers on the main aspects of this publication authenticity and originality.

Below is a bio from Veronica Freeman’s The V official Facebook presence

Without question, one of the hardest working women in today’s music business is Veronica Freeman, whose intoxicatingly powerful vocal abilities continue to be a staple of excellence within the industry. “The V” as she is known by both friends and fans has a success story that few ever attain and most only dream about.

This has been no easy feat mind you, The V has definitely paid her dues. Her do it yourself attitude has made all the difference in shaping her career. Having cut her teeth early on by performing with a slew of nominal bands in the San Diego California rock scene, including the Dio tribute band Evilution, it wasn’t until 2005 that her musical journey really began to take shape. With the help and guidance of her friend Craig Goldy (Giuffria, Dio, Dio Disciples) her band Benedictum were introduced to former Dokken/Dio bassist Jeff Pilson who inevitably produced the band’s 2006 debut release Uncreation for Locomotive Records.

Since then, The V has continued to reach for the stars and has subsequently released three additional Benedictum albums including Seasons of Tragedy (2008), Dominion (2011), and Obey in 2013. In addition she has made both live and recorded guest appearances with such notable artists as German Metal legends Grave Digger, (Ballads of a Hangman 2009, vocals on “Lonely the Innocence Dies”), and Doro Pesch ( The Night of the Warlock 2008, vocals on “Celebrate Full Female Version”, Warrior Soul Tour in 2006 and sharing the stage for Doro’s 30 year anniversary in New York in 2014)and a great performance with rising stars A Sound of Thunder (Queen of Hell 2013, vocals on Queen of Hell).

2015 marks another landmark chapter in The V’s career, not only has she recently been given the opportunity to share the stage with veteran rockers The Rods as a guest vocalist for their European spring tour, but she has released her debut solo effort, Now or Never, on July of 2015 via Frontiers Records to outstanding reviews.

The album shows a side of The V that we’ve yet to experience as she has chosen to somewhat distance herself from the Heavy Metal styling’s she is most known for and offer up a more Melodic Hard Rock approach. A plethora of guest musicians, vocalists and producers appear on the new CD including Pete Wells (Benedictum), Michael Sweet (Stryper), Garry Bordonaro (The Rods), Jeff Pilson (Dokken, Dio, Foreigner), Mike Lepond (Symphony X), Tony Martin (Black Sabbath), Leather Leone (Chastain), John Herrera, Ryan Greene, Kenny Lewis, and more.

The future continues to look bright for The V as she will make her film debut later this year in the independent release Bite School and will also begin filming for a second movie in Europe titled Devil’s Five, a cyber horror feature where she will play Vala Schneider the wife of Ansell Schneider portrayed by Primal Fear frontman Ralf Scheepers.

Overflowing with charisma, enduring long grueling hours in an effort to push herself to the point of breaking she maintains a dominance over every ambition she aspires to, in essence taking control of her own destiny
