The mighty ATTACKER return with their 6th album, the long anticipated follow-up to 2013’s critically acclaimed “Giants of Canaan”. Some people doubted that they can write an equally good one, let alone top it. But here they are again, with a blistering slice of US power/heavy metal, a bit more aggressive this time around. Loaded with bone-crushing riffs, excellent double lead harmonies, bombastic drums and bass, and soaring, melodic and aggressive vocals, this album is sure to impress all fans of REAL metal, in particular bands like HELSTAR, LIEGE LORD, OVERLORDE, SEVEN WITCHES, IRON MAIDEN, VICIOUS RUMORS and JAG PANZER. Just try NOT to raise your fist or sing along to those songs… if you manage to do this, you are probably hearing-impaired! This band can be best compared to wine – they’re only getting better with age. The sound that once brought ATTACKER to the forefront of the underground scene has matured and yet remained faithful to the classic sound that has made them great in the first place. The World Destroyer is rising – you can still choose your weapon, but prepare to be decimated and pay for the Sins of the World!

• The sixth album of this legendary US power/traditional heavy metal band, formed in 1983, whose debut full-length was out on Metal Blade Records in 1985.
• A follow up to the highly successful “Giants of Canaan”, which received over 80 overwhelmingly positive reviews from the press the world over and got nominated as one of the or the best release of 2013 by over a dozen journalists.
• Mastered by the renowned engineer Alan Douches at West West Side Music.
• The band will come to Europe in 2017 to play several festivals, including Pounding Metal in Spain, Up the Hammers in Greece and Headbangers Open Air in Germany. They have toured in Europe before and played at festivals like Keep It True, Headbangers Open Air, Swordbrothers, Metal Assault, Rock Hard (Italy), Heavy Metal Night and Ages of Metal from 2004 to 2013.
• Cover art painted by Jowita Kaminska (Exodus, Manilla Road, Attacker, Witchburner, Forsaken, Deceased, Meliah Rage, Arkham Witch, Metal Law and previous Attacker covers).
• For fans of: Helstar, Liege Lord, Overlorde, Seven Witches, Iron Maiden, Vicious Rumors, Amulance, Jag Panzer, Destiny’s End, Distant Thunder

..ATTACKER: The Lords of Thunder! .. Formed in the summer of 1983, ATTACKER is one of the first Heavy Metal bands to use the literary works of J.R.R. Tolkien as a source of inspiration. An awakening that, eventually, would become the now classic “Battle At Helm’s Deep” album. In recent times, the band has enjoyed one the best comebacks to ever occur in many years! The band has now come, quite literally, full circle and is back where they belong. Throughout their career, the band has amassed an incredible worldwide following, thanks to timeless Heavy Metal Classics such as the aforementioned “Battle At Helms Deep”, “The Second Coming” and their comeback Classic “Soul Taker”! .. In 2004, ATTACKER established themselves as one of the great live bands when they performed their now legendary showcase at the KEEP IT TRUE Festival in April of that year at Tauberfrankenhalle, Lauda-Königshofen, GERMANY along with their headlining debut at the HEAVY METAL MANIACS Festival in October of the same year at Manifesto Hall in Hoorn, HOLLAND. In recent years, members of the International Press and Heavy Metal fans worldwide have lauded their efforts both on album and, especially, the live stage! .. Upon their return from HOLLAND, the band has kept, for the most part, a low profile in as far as their live shows are concerned with the exception of their still talked about performances in GERMANY in July of 2005 at the HEADBANGERS OPEN AIR and THRASH TIL DEATH Festivals. A trek that was highlighted by a special performance of the entire “BATTLE” album which took place at the world-renowned Head-Bangers Ballroom in Hamburg. .. Aside from conquering Europe, once again, the band kept an intense studio schedule while creating the, then, soon to be released new album “THE UNKNOWN”! During the making of their new album, Lou Ciarlo returned to the band in a full-time capacity. For the benefit of those of you that don’t know, Ciarlo, was the member responsible for penning the bands Power Metal classic “The Second Coming” as well as co-writing most of the highly successful come-back “Soul Taker” album. .. 2006 is now in the proverbial “record book” as this was the most monumental year in the bands history! With bassist Lou Ciarlo back in the fold, in support of their, then, new album, the band embarked on their most ambitious road schedule to date with appearances on both sides of the Atlantic, including a tour of Europe. The band visited the countries of GREECE, ITALY and HOLLAND. .. The tour culminated and was highlighted, on September 16th, 2006, by their headlining performance at the SWORDBROTHERS FESTIVAL in Andernach, GERMANY, to which, at the end of their set, the fans gathered on stage and joined the band in a rousing rendition of one the bands signature songs “The Hermit”. The band next appeared in Europe at the KEEP IT TRUE X Festival, once again at the Tauberfrankenhalle, Lauda-Königshofen, GERMANY on Friday April 4th, 2008. Following the bands’ KEEP IT TRUE X performance, Bob Mitchell was let go from the group. As already mentioned, throughout their career, the band has built an incredible worldwide following, thanks to timeless heavy metal classics and great live performances. The bands legend continues to grow and they are now set to bring their brand of Metal Mayhem to the masses and make history …….. once again in 2007/2008! Heavy Metal fans around the globe have witnessed greatness! Have you??? .. 2012 will be a year of rebirth as ATTACKER enters the next chapter featuring new vocalist Bobby “Leatherlungs” Lucas and new bassist Jon Hanemann, who replaces the departed Lou Ciarlo………….ARE YOU READY!!…….

Albert Bell BIO courtesy of METAL ON METAL RECORDS

BIOGRAPHY:
Born in 1967, Albert Bell is one of Malta’s most prolific heavy metal musicians and a life-long heavy metal fan. He formed his first band EXORCIST in the early ’80s with the vision of emulating the bands from the time, which captured his imagination early on in his heavy metal trajectory – from the trailblazing sounds of Black Sabbath to NWOBHM and early thrash metal. The band underwent various line-up changes until Albert teamed up with the Rizzo brothers and Karl Fiorini in 1986. Together, and then under the new moniker KREMATION (the band decided to change their name after coming across the notorious “Nightmare Theatre” album by the US band with the same name), Albert and co released the band’s debut and only full-length cassette album release “Guardians of the Realm” in 1987. The album was possibly the first underground metal release from Malta, and from those early days Albert signaled his intentions to export Maltese metal far beyond the Island’s shores and insularity. Following Kremation’s untimely demise, Albert joined Malta’s seminal thrashers VANDALS on bass in 1989 until in search of like-minded souls interested in pursuing the path of true doom metal (a genre that he had become increasingly more passionate about with the passage of time), he helped to found FORSAKEN in 1991.

Even though he originally intended this as a brief stint to assist Leo, Simeon and co in their upcoming gig in September 1991, Albert joined the ranks of the band, at that time named BLIND ALLEY, permanently. Shortly after his recruitment, the band started writing new songs in the epic doom direction, shed the traditional heavy/power metal songs that the band had in its repertoire and a name change to FORSAKEN was also in order. FORSAKEN’s rise to its present stature as one of the globe’s leading epic doom metal bands was eventful to say the least with the band recouping after losing guitarist and long-time friend Daniel Magri in 2001. After signing to Scotland’s Golden Lake Productions in 2002, the band’s fortunes took a turn for the better and several releases were to follow including “Dominaeon” in 2005, which is considered by connoisseurs in the scene as a landmark epic doom metal release. In his continual search to quench his desire for more doom metal, Albert formed NOMAD SON in 2006 – a band whose path to doom metal glory has been unrelenting and which together with FORSAKEN has helped define Malta has a bastion for true doom metal in Southern Europe.

Sometime in 2011 Albert started working on the music for his solo project, later named ALBERT BELL’S SACRO SANCTUS. By autumn of 2012 he was able to present 2 demo songs to Metal On Metal Records with whom he’d been co-operating because of NOMAD SON. It wasn’t what most would expect from the veteran of the doom scene… it was more of a return to the roots when it comes to his influences and musical career. And it was also the first time Albert’s vocals were to be heard on a recording. This darker and much more “evil” sounding side of Albert’s musical expression appealed right away to the label and the sides agreed to work with each other again.

The debut album, “Deus Volt” was recorded during 2013 and 2014 at Chris Grech’s (NOMAD SON guitarist) studio as well as at the renowned Temple Studios with sound engineering and music production guru David Vella. Albert handles most of the instrumentation on the album (vocals, lead and rhythm guitars, and bass of course) with Robert Spiteri – Malta’s drumming prodigy from hard rockers FIRE recruited on drums to masterful effect.

ALBERT BELL’S SACRO SANCTUS is the next step in Albert’s heavy metal trajectory, where his song-writing, lyrical talents and musicianship all come to the fore. “Deus Volt” – Albert’s debut solo album captures and pays tribute to the myriad influences that have inspired him to date – from the formative influences of BLACK SABBATH, JUDAS PRIEST, MOTORHEAD, VENOM and CELTIC FROST to Bell’s passion and love for classic doom metal as epitomised by NEMESIS, CANDLEMASS, TROUBLE and SAINT VITUS. On “Deus Volt” one can also trace nods to epic metal and the dark, arcane soundscapes typical of the Italian and Hellenic metal scenes that Bell has always felt strong affinity to, reflective of the influences of Mediterranean culture on the music and thematic concepts that he has and continues to explore in his musical forays.

Lyrically, “Deus Volt” sees Albert drawing on both myth and historical fact. It centres on a fictional tale that charts the conjuring and embracing of arcane forces by the higher echelons of the Fatimid dynasty in the midst of efforts of rival caliphates to oust their supremacy. As Fatimid power is ascertained, a bolder challenge arises in the form of successive crusader incursions, spearheaded by the rise of the Knights Templar and other Christian military orders, including the Knights of Outremer and the Knights Hospitalier (Knights of St.John). As their banners rise and battle-cries holler in the East, Christianity’s ever-increasing military and political power and expansive ambitions resonate across uncharted territory. Blood is spilled across the battlefields of Hattin and Ascalon as these opposites clash! Drawing upon myth, belief, superstition, courage and the search for glory; both sides vie for ultimate supremacy under the panoptical gaze of the Monolith – the all-encompassing God! Deus Volt! (God Wills It!)

ALBERT BELL’S SACRO SANCTUS debut album was released on November 14th, 2014 through Metal on Metal Records. It brings savage epic blackened doom metal that you can raise your fist and headbang to! Primeval metal intended for the discerning and elite old-schoolers!

Albert started working on his sophomore album still long before the debut was out. For the second SACRO SANCTUS album “Ad Aeternum”, Albert uses the same musical and song-writing formula explored on “Deus Volt”, though perhaps now somewhat more refined with his increasing studio experience as a solo artist. This said, Albert’s approach remains steadfast and resolute in its commitment, dedication and celebration of old school metal, without any compromises whatsoever.

Lyrically, “Ad Aeternum” revisits Templar history, combining fact, myth and fiction once more. After the Templars’ rise to supremacy over the Saracen hordes, the Knights Templar continue on their primary quest in the Holy Land – to unravel the secrets of the Temple of Solomon. On this journey, the Knights Templar encounter, among other things, ancient Hermetic texts that spoke of a monolithic, all-encompassing God well before the origins and rise of Christendom. The Knights’ interactions with Fatimid and Saracen traditions and lore also made them privy to other forces of esoteric and arcane knowledge, including the rudiments of ancient Sumerian/Babylonian magick. Armed with such arcana imperii, the Templars become even more invincible and a growing threat to the Papacy and theological orthodoxy – the very foundations of the Christian world are thus threatened. Steps are taken by the Papacy, cajoled by the French Monarchy (one of the principle power brokers at the time) to crush the Templars and destroy their influence throughout Europe. A brutal Templar inquisition is undertaken (this is where the album draws on historical fact) with the Order facing charges of witchcraft, demonology, devil worship and so forth. All this is documented on the track titled “Hex and Heresy”. As referenced in the mid-section of the track, while the last Templar Grand Master de Molay is being burned at the stake, he and his associates curse their persecutors (Pope Clement and King Philip of France) who eventually die within a year of de Molay’s torture and burning. Following the proclamations made by their Grand Master while burning at the pyre, the surviving Templars invoke dark Sumerian demi-gods and deities and unleash the foulest of deaths on their foes (as documented on both “Seal of Damnation” and “Invocations of Unlight”). Despite their persecution, many Templars survived and continued to wield untold power worldwide till this very day (hence the last track “Illuminati (Will to Power)” on the album – and the title track “Ad Aeternum”). Albert shall continue following up his forays into Templar history and myth with a third album, which will delve into the Templars’ diaspora after their coerced disbanding and their links with contemporary esotericism and various secret societies.

“Ad Aeternum” was again recorded at Chris Grech’s studio, between July 2014 and August 2015, while drums were recorded by Robert Spiteri at the Temple Studios of David Vella, who contributed some keyboards and who again co-produced, mixed and mastered the album, set to be out on April 29th, 2016 through Metal on Metal Records. It’s a brute, gauntlet-clad fist in the face of all hipster pretenders and new metal trenders. None shall be spared!

Ad Aeternum
The sophomore opus from the Maltese metal-monger Albert Bell’s SACRO SANCTUS offers no quarter, forging a unique style of old school epic and primeval blackened heavy/doom metal. Expect a barrage of savage riffs, sometimes more on the doom, other times on the thrash side, intended especially for the initiated in the arcane paths of olde. Bell conjures references from a rich tapestry of hallowed sources such as VENOM, ROOT, TÖRR, NEMESIS, CELTIC FROST, SABBAT (UK), ATOMKRAFT, ZEMIAL, MORTUARY DRAPE, BATHORY, ANCIENT RITES, Abbath’s I or SAINT VITUS. He has also become much more confident as a vocalist, exploring various styles of expression. Lyrically, the album picks up where the debut left off, charting the last crusades, the Templars’ discovery of ancient hermetic texts, their persecution and executions, the curse of de Molay, and the infiltration into several secret societies by the surviving ones. “Ad Aeternum” is a brute, gauntlet-clad fist in the face of all hipster pretenders and trenders. None shall be spared!
• 2nd blackened heavy/doom metal solo effort of Albert Bell, a veteran of the Maltese metal scene, known as the bassist and main composer for Forsaken and Nomad Son.
• A compelling concept album – the story picks up where the debut “Deus Volt” left off, following the last crusades, the Templars’ journey into arcane knowledge, the arrest, excommunication and execution of de Molay and his associates on the stake, his curse on the persecutors, and finally, the surviving Templars infiltrating various secret societies.
• 4 different cover artworks printed on a separate insert, additional to the booklet with lyrics, liner notes and plenty of other artwork.
• Produced, mixed and mastered by David Vella (engineering guru known for his work with Rammstein, Paradise Lost, Helloween, Clawfinger and many others) in the famous Temple Studios in Malta.
• For fans of: Venom, Root, Törr, Nemesis (pre-Candlemass), early Celtic Frost, Sabbat (UK), Atomkraft, later Zemial, Mortuary Drape, later Bathory, Ancient Rites, I, Saint Vitus, early Death SS and Paul Chain

The forbearers of thrash resemble a Lovecraftian brotherhood. They’re the elder gods who set everything in motion for generations to imitate, while still ruling the roost from on high. Testament stand proudly among the same vanguard that boasted “The Big 4” and beyond.

For over three decades, the Bay Area quintet—Chuck Billy [vocals], Eric Peterson [guitar], Alex Skolnick [guitar], Steve DiGiorgio [bass], and Gene Hoglan [drums]—has consistently delivered unadulterated, unbridled, and unbreakable metal in its purest form without compromise or any signs of slowing down. Over the course of seminal releases ranging from The Legacy and Practice What You Preach to The Gathering and The Formation of Damnation, which won “Best Album” at Metal Hammer’s 2008 Golden Gods Awards, the group’s sales exceeded 14 million worldwide with 2 million in the U.S. alone. Most recently, 2012’s critically praised Dark Roots of Earth assaulted the charts, moving over 20,000 first-week copies and seizing #12 on the Billboard Top 200, the band’s highest U.S. chart bow ever. However, in 2016, Testament returns with more teeth than ever on Brotherhood of the Snake [Nuclear Blast].

“The first record is always classic because you form the band, you’re totally into it, you go through the club scene, find yourself, and write your initial album over multiple years,” explains Eric. “Then, you get signed and end up in a cycle. We took some time to do Brotherhood of the Snake, and it shows. Different influences came in. Normally, there are a few straight ahead thrash songs. We haven’t had this many thrash tracks since The Legacy. It’s a new era.”

“I view Testament like I did when we started,” adds Chuck. “I’ve been fortunate to be doing this for over 30 years. It means a lot. We’re just going to continue doing what we do.”

Following a whirlwind of touring in support of Dark Roots of Earth, the guys began individually writing in late 2013. In between a rigorous tour schedule, new music organically assembled. During the spring of 2016, they hit the studio with Juan Urteaga [Machine Head, Exodus] and quickly cut the album’s 10 tracks.

“Having separate periods to write set it apart,” Eric continues. “Everybody played hard. Chuck really surprised me and belted out stuff that’s more melodic over the heavy speed metal riffs. It blended really well together.”
“It does flow,” Chuck agrees. “There’s a lot of musicianship going on there, and I was finding hooks in the moment. I was able to feel it and just go.”
The record commences on a deadly note with the title track. A whiplash-inducing riff catapults Chuck’s unmistakable growl forward before snapping into mind-numbing leads. It’s a brutal breakneck basher on par with the band’s best.

“It was actually one of the first songs we put together,” says the singer. “Once we heard it mixed, we were all like, ‘Wow, we have the direction we’re going in. It’s really heavy.’”

Elsewhere on the record, “The Pale King” gallops ahead on an apocalyptic barrage of drums and guitars before culminating on an unshakable chant. “It was really natural,” smiles Eric. “It has that old school vibe, but this new energy to it. It never lets up. I love that!”

Brotherhood of the Snake concludes on the crushing yet cinematic “The Number Game,” which evinces Chuck’s knack for a vivid lyrical story.
“I actually wrote it with Steve ‘Zetro’ Souza,” he recalls. “I had that chorus, and it was one of those things where it had to be repeated. It’s 14 days and 14 nights where this guy’s on a killing spree. He does a countdown, and your life is based on the number you are. It was trip.”

A fascinating concept rears its head during many of Brotherhood of the Snake’s key moments, nodding to the mythical race from which the record it shares a name.

“There’s a connection between the alien world and religion, and the whole storyline came from it,” explains Chuck. “There’s a story of a Sumerian race 6,000 years ago that went on crusades to basically dethrone religions. The earth was basically the place where their leader, The Pale King, set people to be imprisoned and mine for gold. It got the ball rolling.”

Ultimately, this Brotherhood remains as powerful as ever. “If a Testament fan knows our history or has followed our last couple of records, they’ll hear the progression,” the frontman leaves off. “Everything is right there and in-your-face. That’s the way it

Abnormality is an extreme metal band hailing from Massachusetts, United States. Purveying a violent hybrid of the heaviest subgenres in metal, Abnormality mixes technicality and speed with devastating grooves. Taking from a wide range of influences, Abnormality captures the speed and unrelenting viciousness of Hate Eternal and Origin and infuses it with grooves and hooks more reminiscent of Suffocation and Deeds of Flesh. Abnormality came together in 2005, and now features seasoned members Mallika, Jay, Josh, Ben, and Jeremy, all hailing from various underground acts such as Goratory, Ascendancy, Sexcrement, Revengeance, and Iranach. Abnormality delivers a brutal sonic experience that death metal fans cannot deny.

Biography
Ingars’ brainchild Crest Of Darkness was conceived in the mid-nineties when his former band Conception was still at its peak. As opposed to Conception, the idea behind C.o.D. was unquestionable a product of Ingars’ passion for sheer sonic brutality and devotion to the satanic ideology according to Anton LaVeys’ Church Of Satan and the Satanic Bible. The contents of C.o.D.’s lyrics clearly reflect Ingars’ beliefs as well as his deep admiration for vampirism.

C.o.D.’s first album, the mini-album «QUENCH MY THIRST» was released in 1996 and kicked off a lasting collaboration with producer/engineer Nils H.Mæhlum at MLP-studio, Norway.

Second album and first full-length, «SINISTER SCENARIO» was released in 1997, both of the above through norwegian label Head Not Found/Voices Of Wonder.

and «SINISTER SCENARIO»
Ingar Amlien: vocals/bass/guitars
Nils H.Mæhlum: drums
Lars Christian Narum: keyboards

The next two albums were released through french label Listenable Records. Being a project in continual progress, C.o.D. diversifies its soundscape on third release, «THE OGRESS» -1999. At this stage, the borderline between black/goth/death shows a different direction for the band. Ingars colleagues from the now defunct Conception, Roy Khan and Arve Heimdal, both make their appearances on this album as well as Kristin Fjellseth contributing female vocals for the albums’ main character – The Ogress.

Line-up, «THE OGRESS»
Ingar Amlien: vocals/bass/guitars
Arve Heimdal: drums
Lars Christian Narum: Keyboards
Jan Petter Ringvold: Keyboards
Kristin Fjellseth: vocals

On forth release, «PROJECT REGENERATION», C.o.D. takes a far more aggressive turn than earlier. There are still potent contributions from both Kristin and Jan P. but the album reveals a more primitive, guitar-based in-your-face attitude than on previous releases. «PROJECT REGENERATION» also sets the standard for a turning point in C.o.D.’s development. What was originally a studio-project, starts growing into a vibrant band-unit.

Akke, who plays guitars on «PROJECT REGENERATION», becomes a full-time member of the band. He’s a former member of norwegian, infamous punk-rock outfit “Cockroach Clan”, as well as british defunct “The Yo-Yo’s” (featuring members of The Wildhearts, KMFDM and The Lurkers). Akkes’ straight-for-the-throat guitar-work seem to fit perfectly into the C.o.D.-blueprint.

Ingar Amlien: vocals/bass/guitars
Akke: guitars

Jan Petter Ringvold: keyboards
Kristin Fjellseth: vocals

In 2001, C.o.D. was narrowed down to a three-piece. In addition to Ingar and Akke, drummer Jarle Byberg joined the band and C.o.D. hit the roads for the first time ever. Several gigs in Norway, the very first Inferno Festival and a successful tour in France with No Return and Symbiosis made C.o.D. becomes an awe-inspiring live-act.

After Jarles’ departure in 2002, drummer Kjetil Hektoen becomes a full-time member of C.o.D. Kjetil is a young talented drummer who has already showed that he is much more than a newcomer. Beside of playing with C.o.D. Kjetil is also a member of another black/death metal band called Enthral, and for the first time C.o.D. have a drummer who is totaly dedicated to dark and extreme metal In 2004 Crest of Darkness released a new devastating and obscure creature; “Evil KnowsEvil”. -An album expressed with talent, originality, passion and intensity as a few ones are able to do nowadays. A unique synergy of aggression and freezing sensations. In a few words the ultimate conception of Extreme Metal able in blending Black Metal, Thrash assaults, great technique, blasting aggression and freezing atmospheres.

The album was recorded & mixed at MLP-Studio with the precious collaboration of the long-date friend Nils H.Mæhlum. The album was mastered at the well-known Outer Sound Studios with Giuseppe Orlando (NOVEMBRE).

After the release of this album Kjell Arne Hubred joined Crest of Darkness as a rythm-guitarist. First for doing live-performances with the band, but now he’s also a full-time member of the band. On a musical, professional and personal level, the current line-up appears to be Ingars’ ultimate trump-card for the eternal life-span of Crest Of Darkness.

In the year 2006 Akke is leaving the band because of personal reasons. This was a big loss for Crest of Darkness, but after a lot of searcing the band finally found a new lead-guitarist called Rebo. Allready in the end of 2006 Rebo met his first challenge with the band. In November/December this year the band recorded their new album “Give Us The Power To Do Your Evil”. It was recorded in Outer Sound Studios in Rome/Italy with Giuseppe Orlando as produser. With this album Crest of Darkness are delivering a new dark and brutal piece of work. The album was released in the spring 2007, and as last time the label was My Kingdom Music.

The response on this album was amazing, and the album got great revews. The prestigious uk magazine TERRORIZER gave the album 9/10 points, and wrote: ” …..In the existence since the mid ’90s, this Norwegian ensemble has crafted an excellent black metall album worth repeated listens.Withering speed compliments the vocalist’s venom. The guitar solos exhibit an expressive ang highly emotive quality, which oddly works. ……”

Crest of Darkness are continuing to co-operate with My Kingdom Music, and after a long working period in total silence Ingar decides to launch a new chapter in C.o.D’s history and creates a colossal new masterpiece of extreme and powerful Black Metal. The result is “IN THE PRESENCE OF DEATH”, a deliriously dark and magnificent work. The recordings was done at Jam Productions in Oslo with Stian Aarstad (ex-Dimmu Borgir) as engineer. Parts of the album was also recorded at Gjøvik with Rebo as engineer. The well-known Endarker Studio in Sweeden mastered the album. The album was released in February 2013. The album got amazing reviews everywhere, and Norway’s finest metal magazine SCREAM voted “IN THE PRESENCE OF DEATH” to the album of the month!

”IN THE PRESENCE OF DEATH” was promoted with a few single conserts and an European tour together with Shining (SE) and Sterbhaus (SE). After this tour C.o.D. was going through new changes in the line-up. Kjetil and Jan Fredrik were leaving the band. Ingar said: “I’ve always followed my vision and I intend to continue doing so. I’ve put C.o.D. through some major changes over the past few years, but there is nothing dramatic behind this. As I’ve often experienced in my career, things just happen in a natural way when the time is right, without being forced to take any drastic decisions. Both myself and my band mates are developing all the time, and as a consequence it is often necessary to make changes in order to keep up with that development, and that is as it should be with any band.”

In September’2014 C.o.D. presented the line-up of today:
Ingar Amlien – vocals, bass
Rebo – lead and rhythm guitar
Bernhard – drums

It is this new line-up that is currently working on an EP to be released on My Kingdom Music at a date as yet to be announced. The band is progressing all the time, and the new material is expected to be the best the band has ever done. Ingar and Rebo have worked together in many years with great success. Bernhard, probably best known from Pale Forest, comes in with a lot of experience from different bands. With other words; It’s still a lot to come from Crest of Darkness!! See More

Lady Beast is a heavy metal band from Pittsburgh PA. Now in its 7th year, the band has played hundreds of shows, played festivals, done tours, and sold thousands of albums. Upon hearing a recording of the band, it’s easy for the listener to pick out the band’s musical influences (NWOBHM, Motörhead, Dio, etc), but that isn’t the only influence. The band draws heavily on the DIY ethos of the punk scene. Lady Beast has always done everything on its own. -Booking tours, doing band photos, printing t-shirts, setting up shows at home, writing songs, putting out albums (released on bassist Greg Colaizzi’s label, Cobra Cabana Records), and driving the van. Anyone that has seen the band live can attest to the band’s energy, and singer Deborah Levine’s vocal ability, charisma, and love for what she is doing. Lady Beast is getting ready to release a new EP with 4 new metal songs in the style that the band is known for. The EP (our third release) is also a debut for the band’s new lead guitarist, Andy Ramage. Andy is a familiar face, as he is the older brother of drummer Adam Ramage, and the two also played together in Oh Shit They’re Going To Kill Us. Andy’s style fits perfectly with the songs that rhythm guitarist Christopher “Twiz” Tritschler has been writing for the band. In addition to the EP, Twiz and Andy are writing songs for a full length, hopefully to be recorded next year.
