I will have to check the KICK ASS METAL HEAVY METAL HALL OF FAME HISTORY BOOKS, Watain “The Wild Hunt” was a TOP 100 HEAVY METAL ALBUM OF ALL-TIME WINNER, On August 16th, 2013. As a heavy metal fan since 1978. I have always been a first day buyer of all the top 100 albums of all-time. In each and every genre and sub-genre. I always had a keen eye when reading World-Class Heavy Metal Artist BIO sheets.

KICK ASS METAL is a DEATH METAL age and a AVANT GARDE METAL age publication. Meaning those two Genres have the best bands and the best artist, since the styles can not be corrupted by corporate rock/ corporate metal structures. NWOBHM was from May 1978 until August 1983 — Thrash Metal Age was from August 1981 to August 1991.

Collecting Death Metal and Collecting Black Metal is just like collecting Glam Metal and Thrash Metal. We are primarily as Gothic Publication. And in our culture we collect the most lush very (rich and providing great sensory pleasure) symphonic classical music, and the most savage Dark Metal, just authenticity is always the key.

You just l@@k for the best of the best, and ignore the rest, (unless you want to over collect you favorite style with every possible micro press and TRUE-KLVT demos, then buy all means, find a specialized press for that genre) ….if you want to collect every album on this planet metal, go ahead.

But those of us who are the Working Class, and have a career earnings total @ 4 to 5 million dollars, upper 1%…. wage earner category, by age 40 0r age 50. My career average (’80 to present) weekly spending habits over its weighted average is $2,100 a week, since I started working in The Summer of 1980. For the years  I made $40,000 dollars, I get to have as disposable income of $800 a week, and the years 1986 to 2000, where I made a quarter a million dollars a year for a decade and a half, my daily disposable income was $800 a day.

1986 t0 2000 were good years where I made a quarter of a million dollars, in those years. 4 Million dollar right there alone. Not bad? huh?

I have had many around 200 plus (just the ’82 to ’86-era)  of $800 dollars a week vinyl binges from October 1982 to October 1986 and this easily continued on until the 2000’s.

I always find the albums in which HEAVY METAL HALL OF FAMES and HEAVY METAL altars of metallic indulgences are built around. Because I read ACTUAL HEAVY METAL publications, print editions, those who have print editions, have to be very careful and be historically accurate, because of all the stuff that is pulled by webZines, and the nonsense that goes on in “METAL” forums. Would never happen in the print edition world. If a webZine publishes a bad article no loss for them since there was no money was used to create literature like a HEAVY METAL Fanzine. Once a publication no matter if it’s a webZine or a fanZine goes off of the rails. A fanZine will go out of business, with a glaring omission of a top 100 album of all-time review not in a magazine. A webZine, can slander this band and that band, with impunity but once it is discovered that they are the top 100 heavy metal bands of all-time. People will stop reading, that publication.

With this in mind Watain has 3 albums in the top 100/ top 500/ top 700 albums of all-time. And each of there 5 full lengths albums have ended up on our top 100 albums for each of the years the were unleashed on Planet Metal.

Watain is in the upper 99.9% of heavy metal bands of all-time, which is a huge difference between that upper-tier and the upper 99.0% tier. Between the top 1% of all world-class artist in the genre of metal/ gothic/ avant-garde / classical music we cover the upper 99.9% is the top 3000 artist of all-time. Now obviously a heavy metal fans will see around 10,000 plus concerts in their lifetime. I worked in Concert Promotions from 1986 to 2000 so that is 5,000 right there alone, and four days a week from 1982 to 1986, when Bay Area Thrash was all the rage…!!  And a true metaller will  get to purchase over 40 thousand CD’s just as a casual music fan of just a dozen CD’s a week. From ages 13 to age 70, I never owned a TV, so I go to the record store 3 times a week. Every year in metal is just as equal as the previous years, never let the subjective get in the way of your objective perception filters.
