Whoa….!!! thought you would never find the perfect album for heavy rotation, between Nightwish “Once” and MindMaze “Back From The Dead”. Well this is it!!! This album RULES!!!

As one of THE most anticipated albums of this year, alongside Edge Of Paradise “Alive”. This album not only meets my expectations, it exceeds them. It has been 1298 days since the all-time classic. Insatia “Asylum Denied” was Unleashed on Planet Metal on December 3rd, 2013. That album I played a billion million times. Because I live in a cold climate album, and certain albums go with Winter. When it’s 20 degrees below, with the wind-chill factor. I am reaching for and listening to Insatia “Asylum Denied”, at the fireplace, dripping hot chocolate with marshmallows, or a cup of coffee.

Was this album worth the wait? For sure…!!! Supreme metallic art of the highest order. Such as this Insatia “Phoenix Aflame”, and Insatia “Asylum Denied”. I would rather have a album like this. ALL KILLER AND NO FILLER!!!!, anyday!!!

@ KICK•ASS•METAL were always looking for the most distinctive, original, unique one-of-a-kind bands.

Any band, such as Insatia. Having a World-Class Vocalist and World-Class Musicians, with top-notch song-writing and extraordinary compositional, have a unfair advantage over those who are at the beginner stage. Because these bands know what a hook is and what a riff is, and know to make sure the METALLIC MAYHEM, has a driving edge, while never forgetting virtuosity !!!

The Insatia albums “Asylum Denied” & “Phoenix Aflame” will always have a have a heavy rotation in my CDalbum player. Because I always pay attention to lyrics, because I am always looking for albums with positive vibes, such as Trouble “Psalms 9”, Trouble “The Skull”, Trouble “Run To The Light” and Pale Forest “Exit Mould”.

I have no problem putting Insatia “Phoenix Aflame”, in the big leagues of albums such as Nightwish “Once”, Epica “The Holographic Principle ” and MindMaze “Back From The Edge “

As a matter of fact, I would hang this album Insatia “Phoenix Aflame” in The KICK•ASS•METAL Heavy Metal Hall of Fame offices, right next to Nightwish “Once”, as a Death Metal AGE, Gothic Metal AGE, and Avant-garde Metal AGE Publication I do listen to Symphonic Melodic Power Metal Metal. Because of the similar origins to the Founding and Progenitor artist!!! I proudly throw in the CD player, The Gathering “Nighttime Birds” then Nightwish “Once”. I have always built my music library 1st and foremost, based on authenticity. And Insatia is the real deal!!!!

Zoë Marie Federoff is a true original one-of-a-kind World-Class Vocalist. I know this band Insatia’s sound/style with in a few notes. Because while bands have influences, and what resonates with me is the artist making heavy metal art.

So one the Sonic Cathedral / Metal Maidens/ Metalholic/ KICK ASS METAL/ Ravenheart/ Black Phoenix Forum/ Femme Metal side of planet METAL’S news coverage, and record reviews. Expect to see this album on top 100 albums not just in 2017, but perhaps the decade 2010 list, and We have both Insatia’s albums as KICK ASS METAL HEAVY METAL HALL OF FAME ALBUMS. Which are albums that you want to have multiple copies of, since the idea of record collecting is to find the music that will always easily survive the test of time, because talent, innovation, originality, authenticity will never go out of style.

Biography

Insatia is an American/Canadian power metal band with female vocals. Founded in 2009 and fronted by Zoë Federoff, the band has released one self produced debut …album, Asylum Denied, and opened for multiple international acts, including Sonata Arctica and Dark Tranquility. In 2014 Fabio D’Amore (Serenity) and his partner Ivan Moni Bidin (Starsick System, Pathosray, Last Warning) announced their positions as producers on Insatia’s upcoming sophomore release, Phoenix Aflame. Joined by producer Staffan Karlsson, known for his work with Arch Enemy, Firewind, Roxette, and many other notable acts, Fabio and Ivan spent the first part of 2015 recording the album at St. Cecilia Studios in Tucson, Arizona, USA, with engineers Steven Lee Tracy and Robbie Williamson. The album’s production then went to Artesonika Studios, Fabio and Ivan’s home base, in Perdenone Italy. In mid 2015 Insatia’s lineup was further enhanced by the addition of Dave Ablaze (Blackguard) on bass, as album production continued overseas. Kaelen Sarakinis and Daniel Millan were added on guitars and drums in 2016. Phoenix Aflame is set for release on June 23rd 2017 via Pitch Black Records, and features Apollo Papathanesio
