Electric Dream Society is a New Wave-influenced project of lush, dreamy electronic pop soundscapes, a crossover of 1980s synthpop with a modern edge.

Founded in January 2017 by Canadian-born composer and keyboardist Jason Hubard (Fisto) and Midwest-raised singer-songwriter Leslie Irene Benson (Irene & Reed, The Sweetest Condition), the duo is currently based in Nashville, Tennessee, and is working on its debut album.

The duo derives influence from The Cure, New Order, Echo and the Bunnymen, Depeche Mode, Siouxsie and the Banshees, David Bowie, Gary Numan, Duran Duran, and others.
