Edge of Paradise was founded in 2011, and have a 11 year head start on everyone in there genre and have 5 of the most brilliant albums of all-time. They win many honors here just because they have that 1 year ahead start on many of todays greatest artist of all-time. Edge of Paradise, Night Club, Nervosa, Death Metal GODS Abnormality, then in 2017 Crossover thrash metal legends Eskröta . Ya Exodus riff lord and top world-class vocalist and Tammy got there start in Sinaya in 2012.
Kick start the metal heart and are leaders what is now called the golden age of true metal. August 1st, 2013 to October, 31st, 2019. But Edge of Paradise got there 1st on September 15th, 2011 with Mask.
There are 31 Metal Genres as i write this January 13th, 2020. In one month, it will be the official 50th anniversary of the metal genres loud and proud debut into existence. The difference between hard rock and heavy metal is the RIFF.
In 1970 there was just Hard Rock & Heavy Metal. By 1986 There were 7 Metal Genres. Now there are 31 Metal Genres.
This Genre is the Traditional Heavy Metal Genre Top 100 albums of all-time list. Obviously as a DEATH METAL-age/ GOTHIC METAL-age/ Avant-Garde-Metal-age publication. I do love the style of heavy metal, that happened from The 1st Coven Record…to the 1st Black Sabbath album which happened on Friday the 13th, February 13th, 1970 to July 1st, 1987.
If you aware why there was a golden age of heavy metal from August 1st, 1981 to October 31st, 1986. This will of course make sense. This is from those heavy metal publications that focused on RIFFS and BULL DOZER RIFFS. These are the best riff lords in the traditional metal genre. If there not hear. Then there on one of the other 30 Metal TOP 100 list. Since there are 31 Metal Genres listed on the insitute of commerce website. Also the institute of commerce says there are around 1,300 genres in music over-all. Fuck yea, in between my favorite Deicide, Cradle of Filth, Abnormality, Immortal, Sisters of Suffocation, Dimmu Borgir, and the best GOTHIC METAL albums of all-time. I do love the style of heavy metal before the 1st Avant-Garde Metal album in Heavy Metal History Celtic Frost “Into The Pandemonium”
So what did Gothic Metal fans listen to before the 1st Gothic Metal album. For 17 years in heavy metal there was no Gothic Metal from 1970 to 1987. Gothic Metal fans we listened to alot of Doom Metal, The Avant-Garde in Punk Rock, TheAvant-Garde in Classical Music, The Darkerside of Classical Music, And Horror Music.

Since Edge of Paradise has no pages over there Today were going to point out the incorrect score at RoadrunneR’s / Blabbermouth news service.
It received a 8 out of 10 today over at RoadrunneR/ Blabbermouth, the review was professional and courteous. And said some pretty flattering things. But put the band at the 8 out of 10 strata, in college a 8 out of 10 is a B-. And the reason I do these collector corner articles. Lets see

I seen Edge of Pardise live and they are a TOP 10 LIVE BAND OF ALL-TIME, I have been a concert-goer since 1982 !!!
And average 320 concerts a year from 1986-1997. I worked for Booking Agencies and concert theatres complexes. And average 120 a year since I stopped working for Booking Agencies.
I go to the record shoppes 123 times a year since 1982. None of this is bragging. I am trying to make the points, Since all Edge of Paradise albums are TIMELESS MASTERPIECES and KICK ASS METAL’S #2 — SECOND GREATEST LIVE BAND OF ALL-TIME — The Greatest Live Band of all-time is Hanzel Und Gretyl, and I will not reveal the aspect of the actual aesthetics of this historic fact…!!!
Okay $240 for CD’s + 10 Dollars a concert ticket + 15 for a tShirt.
$265 Dollars. And seeing Edge of Paradise LIVE …. can not put a price tag on this, whoa, Edge of Paradise are the coolest down to earth nicest people I have meet, and there fans are the best, nothing put brotherhood and positive vibes.
So with this bad review score of a 8 out of 10, I consider this like this dude is trying to take the $265 dollars, that I spent on Edge of Paradise and steal it from me…!!! Because if you believe that low score.

I loved Edge of Paradise’s 2015 album Immortal Waltz so I was very excited to hear their new album Alive. I wasn’t disappointed. The album starts with the title track, which picks up right where Immortal Waltz left off. However, that doesn’t mean there are no surprises. Far from it, the Alive album sees EOP experimenting with new sounds, heavier and more industrial.
Regardless, the opening song “Alive” highlights all of EOP’s strengths: urgent and otherworldly vocals, in the tradition of Ronnie James Dio, from Margarita Monet; compelling rhythms from bassist Nick Ericson and drummer John Chominsky; and major riffage from guitarist Dave Bates. The guitar is actually a major plus of EOP; unlike some other bands in the genre, EOP has a classic guitar-driven sound. You can check this out in the video for “Alive,” where Dave is looking cool leaning against the wall and showing off his mastery of the instrument, starting at about 2:06. Margarita also looks fabulous in this video (as always), and I dig her female Rob Halford outfit. I hope she wears it on stage. (As a digression, EOP are fantastic live. Be sure to check them out if you have the chance. They will soon start a U.S. tour to support the Alive album, and they will also appear at the FemME festival in the Netherlands in September, with Delain.)
“Alive” also has a cool message. As explained by Margarita, the song “is dealing with us humans being so caught up in the digital world, obsessed with convenience and monetary gain, we have begun to sacrifice our humanity. We are becoming corporate led consumer machines! We get lost in the enticing virtual reality that we forget what real human interaction feels like. Break away from bombardment of advertisements, social standards, never ending race with time and just breathe, and remember what it’s like to feel alive! To connect with our fellow humans and the world!” That sentiment echoes the message of my favorite EOP song, “Break Away.”
The next song on Alive, “Dust to Dust,” is where EOP’s industrial experimentation really starts. The music, beat, and even Margarita’s voice sound more Marilyn Manson than Ronnie James Dio on this song. But it’s still really good! “Be who you wanna be, feel what you wanna feel, love how you wanna love,” Margarita chants to a club beat. Great stuff.
Next up is the album’s ballad, “Mystery,” about the tragedy and beauty of life, the universe, and everything. Margarita is a lifelong pianist so piano ballads like this come naturally to her, and are well suited to the softer side of her voice.
After that is the album’s other released single and video, “Shade of Crazy.” This song represents a heavier version of the band’s classic sound and is probably my favorite on the album. I could lose myself forever in the fast drums and seductive vocals starting at about 1:50. I can’t complain about Margarita’s amazing hair and look in the video either.
The album finishes with “Humanoid,” another Mansonesque industrial song. It works well. But sadly that’s the end. Alive is just a 5-song EP. Hopefully another full length will soon follow. In the meantime, I will wear out the bits on my phone’s flash drive re-listening to Alive. I highly recommend it!

I am an Edge of Paradise fan between the “Mask” and “Immortal Waltz” era. I wish I was a 1st day fan of this band since their inception foundation back in February 2011.
Also I would like to point out that as a publication with the topic of WORLD-CLASS HEAVY METAL, that we are heavily on the World-Class Vocalist side of things, and Margarita Monet is a true one-in-a-billion World-Class Vocalist. So th0se who are now in Junior High School, High School, and want to be a member in a hard rock/ heavy metal band as the vocalist, this is the standard you must equal and if you ever achieve a higher level than Margarita Monet, just keep in mind Edge of Paradise also has in its ranks Dave Bates, Nick Ericson, and John Chominsky.

“I loved Edge of Paradise’s 2015 album Immortal Waltz so I was very excited to hear their new album Alive. I wasn’t disappointed. The album starts with the title track, which picks up right where Immortal Waltz left off. However, that doesn’t mean there are no surprises. Far from it, the Alive album sees EOP experimenting with new sounds, heavier and more industrial.
Regardless, the opening song “Alive” highlights all of EOP’s strengths: urgent and otherworldly vocals, in the tradition of Ronnie James Dio, from Margarita Monet; compelling rhythms from bassist Nick Ericson and drummer John Chominsky; and major riffage from guitarist Dave Bates. The guitar is actually a major plus of EOP; unlike some other bands in the genre, EOP has a classic guitar-driven sound. You can check this out in the video for “Alive,” where Dave is looking cool leaning against the wall and showing off his mastery of the instrument, starting at about 2:06. Margarita also looks fabulous in this video (as always), and I dig her female Rob Halford outfit. I hope she wears it on stage. (As a digression, EOP are fantastic live. Be sure to check them out if you have the chance. They will soon start a U.S. tour to support the Alive album, and they will also appear at the FemME festival in the Netherlands in September, with Delain.)
“Alive” also has a cool message. As explained by Margarita, the song “is dealing with us humans being so caught up in the digital world, obsessed with convenience and monetary gain, we have begun to sacrifice our humanity. We are becoming corporate led consumer machines! We get lost in the enticing virtual reality that we forget what real human interaction feels like. Break away from bombardment of advertisements, social standards, never ending race with time and just breathe, and remember what it’s like to feel alive! To connect with our fellow humans and the world!” That sentiment echoes the message of my favorite EOP song, “Break Away.”
The next song on Alive, “Dust to Dust,” is where EOP’s industrial experimentation really starts. The music, beat, and even Margarita’s voice sound more Marilyn Manson than Ronnie James Dio on this song. But it’s still really good! “Be who you wanna be, feel what you wanna feel, love how you wanna love,” Margarita chants to a club beat. Great stuff.
Next up is the album’s ballad, “Mystery,” about the tragedy and beauty of life, the universe, and everything. Margarita is a lifelong pianist so piano ballads like this come naturally to her, and are well suited to the softer side of her voice.
After that is the album’s other released single and video, “Shade of Crazy.” This song represents a heavier version of the band’s classic sound and is probably my favorite on the album. I could lose myself forever in the fast drums and seductive vocals starting at about 1:50. I can’t complain about Margarita’s amazing hair and look in the video either.
The album finishes with “Humanoid,” another Mansonesque industrial song. It works well. But sadly that’s the end. Alive is just a 5-song EP. Hopefully another full length will soon follow. In the meantime, I will wear out the bits on my phone’s flash drive re-listening to Alive. I highly recommend it!

HALESTORM frontwoman Lzzy Hale and drummer Arejay Hale were interviewed by A Music Blog, Yea? in Toronto, Ontario, Canada this past October. You can now watch the chat below.
Asked about the progress of the songwriting sessions for HALESTORM‘s the follow-up to 2015’s “Into The Wild Life” album, Lzzy said: “It’s in the demo stages, but it’s all kind of starting to gel together. ‘Cause, really, initially what happens is that, ‘All right, everyone just write for the sake of writing. Don’t even think about anything thematic. Just go.’ And now it’s starting to all kind of take form.”
Added Arejay: “On our last tour, we had one of our friends, Scott Stevens, come out with us, who is an amazing writer. He used to sing in THE EXIES back in, like, the early 2000s. [He’s] an amazing writer. We wrote ‘I Miss The Misery’ with him, wrote a lot of songs with him. So it was cool having him on the road with us while we were kind of all frantically demoing and writing separately. And he kind of helped bring us all together in the writing process. So I think we kind of see the light at the end of the tunnel.”
Arejay previously told United Rock Nations that he was surprised by the success of “Into The Wild Life”. He explained, “To see that much of a great reaction, we really didn’t expect it, ’cause we felt with this last record, we were kind of doing something very different from our last record; we were kind of playing a little bit more alternative, a little bit more experimental.”
Arejay added: “So when the record came out, I really didn’t know what kind of reaction it was gonna get. I was hoping it would do well, but I felt like our hardcore fans that liked our first two records would have hated it. But they actually liked it. So I was really excited.”
“Into The Wild Life” debuted at No. 5 on The Billboard 200 album chart when it came out last year, selling 56,000 copies in its first week of release — more than double the first-week haul of their previous CD.

Well known and knowledgeable of the underground metal scene, Fernanda Lira blends energy and aggressiveness in her way of playing and behaving on stage.
Fernanda discovered her love for music early on, being influenced to play bass at age 13 by her father, also a bassist, and also by her biggest idol since childhood: Steve Harris of Iron Maiden. Self-taught, she never attended classes to develop her technique and punch, always using with her ears and dedication as the best allies in her musical journey. Aside from the aforementioned, she also admires and has always been inspired by bassists like Geezer Butler, Steve Di Giorgio, Geddy Lee, Ron Royce, and Markus Grosskopf , which is reflected in her bold attempt to take down from the bass the function of only ‘marking’ the rhythm of the music.
Her vocal inspirations are completely different. She has preferred since childhood to learn how to sing by imitating her metal idols such as Tarja Turunen, Michael Kiske and Geoff Tate. However, after working with more aggressive styled vocals on one of her previous bands, she began to migrate to a different style of singing, relying mostly on great idols such as vocalists/bassists Tom Araya of Slayer, and Schmier of the thrash legends, Destruction.
Currently, Fernanda Lira has been improving her old techniques and developing new ones, especially in regards to the vocal lines and compositions with Nervosa, and she also works as a musical journalist as broadcaster, reporter and photographer for the radio Heavy Nation at UOL and has her own production company of videoclips and promo pics for metal bands, called Alien – Foto & Video.

Female thrash metal power trio from Sao Paulo, Brasil, formed by Fernanda Lira (bass and vocals), Prika Amaral (guitar and backing vocals) and Pitchu Ferraz (drums).
Even having been part of groups of different styles before, like death metal and crossover, all members see in the compositions of Nervosa the same passion: thrash metal. With strong influences from this genre’s classic school bands, the girls in the band seek to bring up what is best in heavy music.
Prika Amaral started the band in February 2010, and in July 2011 Fernanda Lira took over the bass and vocals of NERVOSA, and only then, finally with the full team, the band started working as a professional band – writing, recording, doing shows.
In March 2012 the band released their first video for the song “Masked Betrayer”, which reached the incredible mark for a new band of 20,000 views in just one week, which led them to receive an honorable mention YouTube, ranking 17th place most viewed music video of the week and the 55th most watched in March of that year.
Because of the reputation earned through their hard work, NERVOSA in the following months accomplished a great achievement: the deal with the Austrian label Napalm Records, which has in its roster names like Cavalera Conspiracy, WASP, Grave Digger, Moonspell, Huntress, among many others.
In 2012, the first record of the band, a demo with three tracks, was released in Brazil on CD independently, under the title ’2012′ in August, and abroad via Napalm Records on vinyl in turquoise color, and via Nuclear Blast in clear version, both under the title ‘Time Of Death’, which cover art was designed by artist Andrei Bouzikov, who has worked with several bands before, such as Municipal Waste.
Nervosa ends the year of 2012 with a very positive balance of more than 50 shows made across the country, among them, sharing the stage with bands like Exodus, Raven, Grave, Samael (in Roça n Roll Festival), Exumer and Artillery , among others.
After a period of changing drummers, the girl who took over the drumsticks and came to join forces with the band in February 2013 was the competent Pitchu Ferraz, who carries a long 20-year career in the instrument.
The year of 2013 began with renewed energy, and the band continued promoting their EP nationwide, with shows in several states, and even with a tour around North and Northeast of Brazil, and sharing the stage with other major names, such as Korzus, Ratos de Porão and even Destruction, Exciter, Blaze Bayley, Kreator, DRI and Benediction.
In 2014, the girls finished recording their first full length, entitled Victim of Yourself, which featured 12 tracks and which cover was again signed by the artist Andrei Bouzikov, and which booklet was produced by the Brazilian artist Rafael Romanelli.
The album was released in March that year via Napalm Records in Europe and North America and by other labels and distributors in South America, Japan and Russia. In addition to the traditional format on CD, it was also launched four versions on vinyl in black, blue, red and transparent colors, with distribution by Napalm Records and also by Nuclear Blast.
Two videos were also released along the album promotion: ‘Death!’, which was recorded in an abandoned cemetery, reaching the record of views from all the videos of the band, and ‘Into Moshpit’, a compilation of live videos that demonstrates all the energy in the live show of the girls.
These two singles, added to other tracks on the album, made ‘Victim of Yourself’ reach great metal audience response, as well as highlight and good ratings in major magazines in this segment around the world, such as the European Metal Hammer, Rock Hard , Terrorizer and Bass Guitar, the American Revolver and Guitar World and even the Japanese Burrrn!, besides Brazil’s Roadie Crew, Bass Player, Guitar Player and Modern Drummer.
The good reception of the album was essential to result in a long and intense tour, which lasted for the years of 2014 and 2015. To promote the record, the band played in 17 of the Brazilian states, went through seven countries in Latin America and made a successful tour in Europe, with 51 shows in 60 days, passing through a total of 16 countries on the continent, including presentations on some of the major European summer festivals like Summerbreeze, Brutal Assault, Metal Days, Obscene Extreme, among others.
The band is currently doing the last shows of the tour ‘Victim of Yourself’ and finishing the writing of their new album, to be released in mid-2016.

July 2011 is when Nervosa really becomes the metal monster that I know and love today, this is when my favorite singer nowadays, whos other metallic weapon of choice is the bass. Fernanda Lira joins the band.
In the beginning of 2012 Karen Ramos opted to leave the band.

So now the band is a POWER TRIO, that plays with POWER. I would of worshipped hard Nervosa no matter what, but I have a affinity of Power trio’s and as a fan of this METALLIC configuration, I feel blessed to have Nerovsa in this style. Some of my favorite bands of all time are power trio’s.
In March 2012, one of the greatest videos of alltime was released Nervosa’s “Masked Betrayer”. I start every day of with this video, killer guitar tones, and major rager metal vibes.
Sometime after this Nervosa signs a mangment deal with Jeff Keller.

NERVOSA, the all-female thrash metal act from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will release its debut album, “Victim Of Yourself”, on March 11 in North America via Napalm Records. The production, recording, mixing and mastering were taken care of by Heros Trench and Pompeu, both of the veteran Brazilian metal band KORZUS. The recordings took place at the studio Mr. Som, where NERVOSA recorded its first EP, entitled “Time Of Death”, in 2012.
According to a press release, “the all-female thrash metal combo pushes the pedal to the metal and offers the listener high-speed riffs, furious drumming and raging leads. The songs have a brutal and raw energy and are crowned by murderous hooks and the aggressive vocals by bassist Fernanda Lira.”

“Power female trio thrash metal of São Paulo, formed by Fernanda Lira (bass and vocals), Prika Amaral (guitar and backing vocals) and Pitchu Ferraz (drums). Even having been part of groups of different styles before, death metal and crossover , all members see in the compositions of the same passion Nervosa: thrash metal. With strong influences coming from bands of the classical school of style, the girls band seeking rescue what is best in heavy music. Prika Amaral started the band in February 2010, but only in July 2011 Fernanda Lira took down and the vocal NERVOSA.
In March 2012 the band released their first video for the song “Masked Betrayer”, which reached a staggering 20 thousand views in just one week, which led them to receive an Honorable Mention YouTube, ranking 17th Place clips Most viewed musicians of the week and 55th most viewed in March. Thanks to the notoriety earned through their hard work, the NERVE in the following months, got two other great achievements. was the first management contract with American Jeff Keller, also representative of other great bands on the world stage, like Destruction and Hirax. Another novelty was the contract with the Austrian label Napalm Records, who has on his roster names like Grave Digger, Hate, Tiamat, Huntress, and others.
The band’s first record, a demo with 3 tracks, was released in Brazil on CD independently, under the heading ‘2012 ‘in August, and overseas via Napalm Records on vinyl in turquoise color, and via Nuclear Blast in version transparent, both under the title of ‘Time Of Death’, whose cover art was drawn by photographer Andrei Bouzikov, who has worked with several bands before, and Municipal Waste. A closes the year 2012 with a very positive balance over 50 shows done around the country, among them, sharing the stage with bands like Exodus, Raven, Grave, Samael (the Roça n Roll festival), and Exumer Artillery, among others. After a period of exchange of drummers, who assumed the post and came to join the band forces in February 2013 was the competent Pitchu Ferraz, who carries a long career of 20 years in the instrument.

Known and knowledgeable of the underground metal scene, Fernanda Lira upsets any stereotype that girls do not know how to play heavy music.Merging energy and aggression in her playing and behave onstage, the bassist and vocalist come for several years, advocating and raising the flag of the passion for metal.
Fernanda discovered her love for music at an early age, being influenced playing bass at age 13 by her father, also a bassist, and also by her biggest idol from childhood: Steve Harris, the band Iron Maiden.
Self-taught, never attended classes to develop their technical and footprint, always with his ear and dedication as best allies in this musical journey. Fernanda started her career in bands at age 15, in a group that blended with traditional melodic metal. Soon after, she formed along a former bandmate to Hellarise, with whom she recorded her first audio record, which got some success: thanks to the record where his low “draws attention so incredible” (Christiano KODA, Whiplash. Net), this former band was featured in an issue of the magazine Roadie Crew and was selected to the São Paulo round the Wacken Metal Battle.
For reasons of personal and musical differences divergence, Fernanda was removed from this former band, for no more want to follow the cliché that is emerging among bands with female component, which is to practice the musical lines similar to the vocalist Angela Gossow of Arch and her cronies Enemy, for example.
Judging by his way of composing, Fernanda has always maintained a greater preference to the style that provides fast thrash metal, and after some time away from the scene, the bassist went to look for new members to form a new group of metal, this time making a sound purely thrash, and preferably, old school. After several attempts, she was invited to participate in Nervosa, where she took both posts bassist and vocalist, and who is conquering its space again on the scene, closing major partnerships and sponsorships for the band, and playing through several states in Brazil.
Currently, Fernanda Lira has been improving their old techniques and developing new, especially as regards the vocal lines and compositions with Nervosa, and works in the area of music journalism, as a reporter and photographer from radio Heavy Nation of UOL, and columnist for the site Whiplash.Net.

Prika Amaral has always had the musicality very present in your life. Since birth she heard her father play guitar and guitar.Passionate about music, interest in learning to play has always been evident.What stopped was the difference in musical styles, but that was when at age 14 decided to learn the guitar alone, in two years fingering techniques learned how classical guitar, and by that time well developed these skills.
But this was not the musical style which she dreamed of playing, it was then that the lower the tone of the guitar for 2 tones she began to feel more comfortable, thereafter began a series of compositions. At the age of 18 in her first job, got her first paycheck and was rushing to buy your guitar. Soon after she formed his first band called Kaostone’s (band formed only by women). Remained alone for a year chasing members without success to find suitable members quit the band.
Throughout that time bands were 10 and 7 projects. Among them are the main Caeté Innervoices and Black Mud. Already renowned as a guitarist came to do some vocals in bands like Caeté plus guitarist and now also operates in the backing vocals Nervosa.

Throughout this time people were always sought to take seriously a band, and is very visible satisfaction in having established and be participating in Nervosa.

Known and knowledgeable of the underground metal scene, Fernanda Lira upsets any stereotype that girls do not know how to play heavy music.Merging energy and aggression in her playing and behave onstage, the bassist and vocalist come for several years, advocating and raising the flag of the passion for metal.
Fernanda discovered her love for music at an early age, being influenced playing bass at age 13 by her father, also a bassist, and also by her biggest idol from childhood: Steve Harris, the band Iron Maiden.
Self-taught, never attended classes to develop their technical and footprint, always with his ear and dedication as best allies in this musical journey. Still, her ability is always well recognized in their work and in their compositions stand down because “the play dramatically. Fernanda started her career in bands at age 15, in a group that blended with traditional melodic metal. Soon after, she formed along a former bandmate to Hellarise, with whom she recorded her first audio record, which got some success: thanks to the record where his low “draws attention so incredible” (Christiano KODA, Whiplash. Net), this former band was featured in an issue of the magazine Roadie Crew and was selected to the São Paulo round the Wacken Metal Battle.

NERVOSA thrash
All female Brazilian thrash metal trio from São Paulo. The music composed by the girls in NERVOSA has strong influences on thrash metal, mixed with original and personal elements inserted by each of the band members on the songs.
Even joining, in the past, bands from different styles, like punk, hardcore, death metal and crossover, all band members see in NERVOSA’s music one common passion: thrash metal. With strong influences from classic old school bands, such as Slayer, Sepultura, Exodus, Ratos de Porão, Pantera, Napalm Death, the girls try to pick up what’s best on this old school heavy music, like the 80′s style, so loved among the metalheads.
The band started in february 2010, Prika Amaral and Fernanda Terra knew each other and had the same will to play thrash metal. After a long time looking for bassplayers and singers, many rehearsals, and 4 composed songs, it was only in July 2011 that the girls got to know Fernanda Lira that immediately joined the band, assuming both positions singer and bassplayer in the band. To complete the team, Karen, from Curitiba, Brazil and band’s old friend, does her first rehearsal in august 2011.
But, in the beginning of 2012, guitarist Karen Ramos, due to personal reasons related to her distance from the city of São Paulo, opted to leave the band and move on with other projects.
The other band members, then, decided to go ahead with the band as a power trio, discarding the possibility of another guitarplayer entering the band.
In March 2012, the band launched their first video clip for the song ‘masked Betrayer’, that reached the incredible mark of 20 thousand views in only a week, what led them to receive an honorable mention from YouTube, in the post of 17th most viewed artists video and 55th most viewed in the month of March.
Thanks to the notoriety conquered through their hardwork, NERVOSA, in the following months, got two huge achievements.
The first one was the deal with american manager Jeff Keller, who also represent great band like Destruction and Hirax.
The other big news was the band inking a deal with the Austrian record label Napalm Records, which has in their roster names like Grave Digger, Hate, tiamat, Huntress, among others.
The first band’s recording, a 3-track demo, was released in Brasil in CD, independently by the name ’2012′ in august, and worldwide by Napalm Records, in turquoise, and later, purple vinyl version and by Nuclear Blast in clear, and later, red vinyl version, both entitled as ‘Time of Death’, which coverart was designed by artist Andrei Bouzikov, who has already worked with many bands previously, such as Municipal Waste.
In october, drummer Fernanda Terra leaves the band due to personal reasons and incompatibility of ideas.
Nervosa ends the year of 2012 with a very positive balance with almost 50 shows made around Brazil, and, among them, playing with bands like Exodus, Raven, Grave, Samael (in the festival Roça N Roll, where the played thanks to a contest the won, which took them to the finals and, after, to play in the festival), Exumer, Artillery.
2013 already starts with full steam for the band: they already played along with Destruction in São Paulo, started a mini tour in the North and Northeast of Brazil, in places they had never played before, signed with the European booking agency The Flaming Arts for a future tour around that continent, and started the recordings for the first full-length which must be out in the middle of this year.
